Jim DeSalvo, P.E., S.E., PRINCIPAL

Jim DeSalvo is a Principal with Quantum Consulting Engineers.  He brings over 35 years of structural engineering expertise specializing in new design, renovations, seismic retrofits and investigation based analysis.  He holds a Bachelor of Architecture majoring in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois and is licensed as a Civil/Structural Engineer in several states including Washington and Alaska.  His work has involved a variety of building types and materials including industrial, commercial, institutional, educational and residential. 

He has particular experience with the renovation and upgrades of public and other facilities, including the addition to the Everett YMCA and seismic upgrade and tenant improvements to four story 1016 1st Avenue Building, as well as several City of Bellevue owned buildings. He is routinely called on to be the structural team member for Constructability Reviews and Value Analysis on Public Projects.

Jim is currently working on several upgrades to industrial projects, and has an On-Call Structural Engineering Service contract with the City of Bellevue Facility Department. He is also conducting seismic upgrades to several religious facilities.
