Bellingham Covenant Church

Bellingham Covenant Church

Bellingham, WA

Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural construction support for a 30,000 SF church with an expandable sanctuary, a large foyer, cafe, gymnasium, church library, classrooms, youth center, and church offices. Some of the distinctive design features include the 400-seat sanctuary, built to allow expansion to seating for 600; and an over sized foyer spacious enough that it can be used for banquets, receptions, and as an informal display area for church ministries. The exterior was purposefully designed with residential scale and character.

DJC Mention: Bellwether Apartments

Bellwether Apartments

Another Quantum project was featured in the DJC as a project of the week.  The Bellwether apartments is a four-story mixed-use building.  This 43,000 square foot building provides affordable housing in Bellingham.  The design team worked closely with the Port of Bellingham to design a building that not only provided market rate apartments but also helped the surrounding area’s shoreline and an existing trail. Special thanks to Caron architecture for bringing us on board.
