Tommer Building
Quantum Consulting Engineers provided the structural engineering and construction support for this four-story, 25,000 square foot mixed-use space located near downtown Ballard. The Tommer Building used heavy timber construction along with exposed concrete walls and steel beams to create this modern Scandinavian design, including access to natural light with its large panel windows. With sustainability and community in mind, this building includes bike storage, flexible floor plates for custom layouts, a partial green roof, and a spacious roof deck with views of the city

Olympic High School: DJC'S 2019 Project of the Year Nomination
Quantum is excited to announce that our project Olympic High School is in the running to be the DJC’s 2019 Building of the year! This project with Sundberg Kennedy Ly-Au Young, was a complete overhaul of the existing Olympic High School in Bremerton, Washington. School projects are some of our favorite projects to work on and it is such an honor to be considered for this award.

The Evergreen School
The Evergreen School
Shoreline, WA
Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design services for The Evergreen School in Shoreline, Washington. Founded in 1963, this private Pre-K-8 school aims to teach 450 highly capable students in a fun, innovative, and supportive environment.
This project added over 27,000 square feet of new construction to the existing school, including outdoor learning and play spaces, a new administration suite, a multi-purpose room, community gathering areas, and the BIG Lab, the creative center of the campus. Quantum also provided structural upgrades to 15,000 square feet of existing building areas.

What a strong start to 2020! Quantum is excited to announce that we were included in Dwell ‘s top 10 prefabs of 2019! This project with McBride architecture and was located in Massachusetts. Projects like these remind us that prefabricated buildings are not only highly customization, but can look and feel elegant.
