Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design services for a new Student Health and Fitness Center for Everett Community College. This 47,000 square foot facility houses the school’s main gym, weight and fitness exercise rooms, climbing wall, multipurpose spaces, locker rooms and offices. The main gym seats 2,500 and the gym also features an elevated running track around the perimeter. The structure is composed of steel framing, long span steel roof trusses and steel brace frames. Exterior cladding includes brick and insulated metal panels.

The facility is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification

Bellwether Apartments

Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design for this four-story 43,400 square foot mixed-use apartment building. Located on Bellingham’s waterfront, the Bellwether Apartments provide 42 affordable units, with sizes ranging from studio to two-bedroom apartments and a 4,100 square foot ground floor commercial space. The Bellwether has 57 parking spaces on site, vehicle charging stations, and a bike room with 20 stalls. Other amenities include shared spaces such as a kitchen and clubroom. Working closely with the Port of Bellingham, the design team was able to create a building that not only provides necessary housing but improves the surrounding shoreline and an existing trail with rain gardens and native plantings to control and filter storm-water runoff.

Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design and construction administration for the Del Mar Station Transit Village, which has become one of the most prominent mixed-use transit-oriented developments along the new Gold Line light rail system linking downtown Los Angeles and Pasadena.

The 4.1-acre site includes 347 housing units (6% set aside for affordable housing), 20,000 SF of retail area, and a subterranean garage for 1,200 cars. It encompasses roughly 929,000 SF.

Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design of a nine-story, 200,000 SF residential complex housing 252 small affordable units plus below-grade parking in the vibrant Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The design consists of four stories of post-tensioned concrete at the sub-grade parking levels, street-level retail/mixed-use space, and five levels of wood framing for the residential living units above.

Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design for a 92-unit mixed-use residential complex, created to be a new and vibrant live/work neighborhood in the center of the Issaquah Highlands Development of Issaquah Washington. The two buildings face each other on adjacent street corners and include street-level retail space and covered parking, a one-level underground parking level and three floors of condominiums above. Starpoint Condominiums feature numerous decks and balconies and both buildings are configured in a ‘U’ shape with a large central courtyard landscaped with large plants and trees. Views are of the surrounding hills and mountains.
